Students will depict them with attention to structure, texture and details, polishing their modeling and rendering skills. At the core of the piece, however, is the reflective element: their self-portrait, not directly presented in the form of a figure in the foreground, but rather reflected in a mirror that is placed among the still life objects, creating an indirect interaction with the viewer as subtle dialogue between self and surroundings.
